Tim Davis, “2043”, is the son of Rob and Jean from Mt. Pulaski, Illinois. He is a junior majoring in Ag Studies. Tim Davis transferred from Illinois State where he was a member of the Beta Delta AGR chapter.
Brian Mike, “2044”, is a sophomore from New Richmond, Minnesota double majoring in Ag Business and Dairy Science. He is the son of John and Ann and brother of Jessey and Sarah. Brian grew up showing livestock in 4-H and FFA attending local and national shows.
Lucas Wendl, “2045”, from Panora is a sophomore majoring Ag Business. He is the son of Jim and Carol l and has two siblings, Lauren and David. In his spare time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and four-wheeling.
Joe Hora, “2046”, is the son of Gregg, “1247”, and Liddy from Fort Dodge. Joe is a freshman majoring in Ag Business. Joe enjoys playing baseball, camping, fishing, and golfing. Joe was raised on 2,200 row crop operation along with 600 head of hogs.
Ben McDonald, “2047”, is the son of Tom “1332” and Nancy McDonald from Hopkinton. He has one brother Brad “1996” and a sister Jessie. Ben was raised on a row crop and farrow to finish hog operation. Ben is a freshman majoring in Ag Business with aspirations of becoming a marketing consultant for a large ag firm.
Andrew Heineman, “2048”, a freshman in Ag Business is from Ogden. His parents are Paul “1202” and MariLynn. Andrew grew up working on the family’s 3,500 acre row crop farm. He was also very involved in showing livestock and playing sports in high school.
Marcus Heineman, “2049”, a freshman in Ag Business is from Ogden. His parents are Paul “1202” and MariLynn. Marcus was raised on a 3,500 acre row crop farm. During high school, Marcus was involved in his 4-H club, sports, and fine arts.
Wesley Christensen, “2050” is the son of Jim “1194” and Julie Christensen from Royal. He is majoring in Ag Studies here at Iowa State. Wes enjoys feeding the 2,000 head of cattle on the farm as well as helping in the field with their 3,000 acre row crop business. Wes enjoys playing sports and waterskiing.
Skyler Rinker, “2051”, from Ogden, is the son of Jay “1117” and Kim. He is majoring in Ag Studies and is considering a minor in Animal Science. He is the fourth generation on his family’s cow calf operation. Skyler’s hobbies include showing cattle, building motors, and spending time with friends.
Aaron Lorch, “2053” is a freshman majoring in Ag Engineering from Ocheyedan. He is the son of Bruce, “1052”, and Elizabeth. Aaron came to Iowa State for its strong engineering program and to cheer for the Cyclones. Aaron’s interest in agriculture came from working on the family’s farm which included corn, soybeans, cattle, and hogs.
Kyle Fischer, “2054”, is the son of Ben and Dee from Minden. He is a freshman majoring in Agronomy. Kyle grew up on a family farm of about 1,200 acres of corn, soybeans, and alfalfa and a herd of beef cattle. When Kyle graduates, he plans on returning to the farm and starting an agronomy business.
Todd Ramaeker, “2055”, a freshman in Ag Business from Creston, is the son of Rick and Janice. He has two brothers Kyle and Matt “1913” and two sisters Heidi, and Lanae. During high school, Todd worked on a cow calf and row crop farm. Todd enjoys football, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.
Tanner Whipple, “2056”, is the son of Dallas and Kim Hansen and Verlin and Delia Whipple. Tanner is from Hampton and is majoring in Ag Business. Tanner has two brothers Josh “1600” and Jacob “1651” Hansen and a sister Makenzie Whipple. Tanner grew up on 1,000 acre farm with several contracted hog buildings. Tanner enjoys football, farming, and hunting.
Ben Zelle, “2057”, from Waverly is a freshman double majoring in Ag Business and Computer Science. His parents are Ronald and Mary Beth. Ben was very active in his FFA chapter in high school. He enjoys running, computers, and football.
Ryan Schroeder, “2058”, is a freshman from Coon Rapids majoring in Ag Systems Technology. He is the son of Dave and Linda. He was raised on a 3,000 acre corn and soybean farm. Ryan also worked at his relative’s feedlot. Ryan enjoys playing football and baseball and showing pigs at the county and state fair levels.
Andrew Filipi, “2059”, is the son of Sonya Filipi from Davey, Nebraska. He is a freshman double majoring in Animal Science and Ag Business. Andrew enjoys raising show cattle and showing them across the nation. In the future, Andrew would like to pursue a career in pharmaceutical sales.
Aaron Cling, “2060”, a freshman Agronomy major, is the son of Doug and Jan. Andrew grew up on a corn and soybean farm in Mediapolis. He also raised show pigs and beef cattle. Andrew enjoyed showing his pigs and cattle at both the county and state fair. After college, he wants to be the head agronomist for a co-op and continue the family farm.
Andrew Lauver, “2061”, from Rockwell City, is a freshman in Ag Business. He is the son of Kevin and Linda. He has one brother, Jacob. Andrew grew up on a row crop operation with some beef cattle. Andrew enjoys playing football, basketball, and golf. Andrew also involved in FFA showing cattle.
Adam Darrington, “2062”, is a freshman in Animal Science. He is the son of Neil and Kathy. Adam background in agriculture came from his family farm where he helped manage a 180 cow calf herd and 2,000 acres of corn and soybeans. Andrew’s hobbies include showing cattle, sports, and hunting.
Stephen Prather, “2063”, is the son of Tom and Ann from Virginia, Illinois. He is a freshman majoring in Ag Studies. Stephen’s interest in agriculture came from working at a local seed company and helping out a farmer during harvest. After graduating, Stephen plans on a career in sales.
Zach Boss, “2064”, is a freshman majoring in Ag Business from Manchester. He is the son of Todd and Donna. Zach was raised on a 700 acre corn and soybean farm with 100 acres dedicated to organic crops. He also raised beef cattle and has a farrow to finish swine operation. Zach plans on being a PR for a large company.
Kurt Wendl, “2065”, a freshman from West Des Moines, is Agronomy major. He is the son Don and Juhree. Kurt enjoys swimming, hunting, and fishing. He came to Iowa State to pursue a career in Agriculture. After graduating, Kurt plans on being an agronomist for a large seed company.
Adam Tryon, “2066”, is a freshman Ag Engineering major from Troy, Missouri. His parents are Kevin and Lori. He has two siblings, Sarah and Jacob. Throughout high school Adam worked at the local co-op and was also very busy being an officer in his FFA chapter.
Michael Inness, “2067”, from Galesburg, Illinois, is a freshman studying Agronomy. He is the son of Mike and Lisa. Michael was raised on a corn and soybean farm with a farrow to finish hog operation and a farm supply business. Upon graduation, Michael plans on returning home and continuing his family’s operations.
Colin Hurd, “2069”, is a freshman from Story City majoring in Ag Business. He is the son of Scott and Susan. Colin has six brothers and one sister. Ever since working at his neighbor’s farm, Colin has been enthusiastic about agriculture. Colin enjoys playing basketball, hunting, and surfing.
